This is an image that represents what the final website may look like.  It may include sample photos and text and is used to give you, the owner, a preview of what the site may be.  This is presented to you after the initial consultation and subject to your review.  It is understood that you may wish to make changes to the look and design at this time.

If you would like to have a site created by Brackish Waters Design, the following is useful information to help me create the most accurate representation of your vision:

  • A list of sites you like or would like your own site to mimic.
  • Colors you would like to be used
  • Copies of any letterhead, logos, brochures, menus, catalogs, or mailers.
  • Images you would like used in the design (these are different than photos used in a gallery).
All sites are tested in every major web browser to ensure each visitor sees the website in the same way: Exactly as you like it.

  • Templates for website construction can be provided in Adobe Dreamweaver format at the completion of the project for no additional charge.
  • All websites are tested to be 100% html compliant when available.
  • All websites are tested using the following web browsers: Internet Explorer (5,6,7,8) Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari.
  • I also ensure the site can be read by any visitors who utilize screen readers or text based browsers.

I have experience using the following:

  • Content Management: Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress.
  • HTML, CSS, JS, Flash, ASP, PHP
  • Forum: Invision, vBulletin, phpBB, many more…
  • Google Apps
  • Much, much more but this could get boring.

  • There are three levels of Search Engine Optimization that I offer at this time. Each level includes more features, time spent on your website, and details reported to you on results.
  • All approved Search Placement & Marketing packages include a detailed report of my activities and enhancements to your website.
  • Each level includes submission to major search engines and reports on visitor statistics.
  • I do not publicly advertise the details of the packages, please contact me for more details.

  • I offer a low hourly fee for all minor maintenance and content updates.  This cost is $30.00 per hour billed in 15 minute increments and subject to specific conditions.
  • Monthly maintenance plans are available for sites that require frequent updates throughout the year.

Maintenance also needs to be performed on your search engine placement.  Over time as more companies move to the web, more competition takes place for those front page results.  Technology and standards used by search engines are just as dynamic as the results they provide and because of this, optimizations to your site may need be done to get you back on top.
